infoLisa Demetz started jumping when she was 13 years old. Her then-coach Romed Moroder asked her, if she wants to become a skijumper. She agreed - without even knowing the sport at all. She improved very fast and was able to compete in her first international competition already in 2003. Since then she is a permanent member of the Italian national team. She is one of the most consistent competitors in the Continental Cup and made it several times to the top ten. In 2006 she had to receive a setback, when she broke her wrist at a official training in Park City. Lisa's biggest success so far was in 2007, when she was victorious at the Junior World Championships. Her only win in a Continental Cup was in 2009 in Dobiacco.

Also on national level Lisa was very successful. She won the Italian Championships five times, in 2005, 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2011. At the national junior championships she was successful in 2005, 2006 and 2009. After finishing the secondary sports school in Stams (AUT), she was able to make skijumping her profession, as she was admitted into a military sports group.
