Nadia’s hurricane paralyzes the Sunday ski jumping competitions. Scheduled for 10:15 CET, the FIS Cup competition at the Średnia Krokiew (HS105) in Zakopane was canceled more than an hour in advance.
The unfavorable forecasts of meteorologists for Sunday have proven correct. The wind at the Średnia Krokiew in Zakopane currently reaches an average speed of 6-7 m / s.
Due to the too strong wind, the competition jury announced at 9:00 AM the cancellation of the Sunday’s competition.
The next FIS Cup competitions will be held in three weeks, February 19-20 in Villach, Austria (HS98).
