Sara Takanashi won the final Raw Air competition at Holmenkollbakken (HS134) in Oslo. The Japanese achieved 63rd World Cup victory in her career after jumps on 130 m and 128 m. Ursa Bogataj was second and Yuki Ito was third. Fourth Nika Kriznar triumphed in the Norwegian tournament.
In the first round, Sara Takanashi landed at 130 meters and she was leading with an advantage of 2.9 points over Ursa Bogataj (127 m) and 5.6 points over Chiara Kreuzer (127 m). Yuki Ito (123 m) was fourth, followed by Nika Kriznar (122.5 m) and Marita Kramer (123 m).
In the final jump, Sara Takanashi landed on 128 meters and she triumphed in the World Cup competition for the 63rd time in her career. The Japanese stood on the podium in the company of Ursa Bogataj (130.5 m) and Yuki Ito (127 m). Nika Kriznar (127 m) was ranked fourth, and Marita Kramer (126 m) took fifth place.
The winner of the Raw Air tournament became Nika Kriznar (1 592.7 points), who didn’t win any of the four competitions included in the tournament. The Slovene beat Sara Takanashi by 40.6 points (1 552.1 points). Third was Ursa Bogataj (1 546.0 points).
Marita Kramer is almost sure of the Crystal Globe (1226 points). For two competitions before the end of the season, the Austrian is 195 points ahead of Nika Kriznar (1031 points). Ursa Bogataj is third (1031 points).
