Slovenia won the first Mixed Team competition at the Beijing Winter Olympics on the hill in Zhangjiakou (HS106). The silver medal was won by Russia, and the bronze – surprisingly – by Canada. During the competition, athletes from Austria, Japan, Germany and Norway were disqualified.
