Ursa Bogataj triumphed in the penultimate World Cup competition in Oberhof (HS100). The Slovenian won with jumps of 98 m and 98.5 m. Nika Kriznar was second and Katharina Althaus was third. The Crystal Globe was provided by Marita Kramer.
Ursa Bogataj was in the lead after the first round. The Olympic champion from Beijing landed at 98 meters and was half a point ahead of Nika Kriznar (96.5 m) and 7.2 points ahead of Katharina Althaus (93.5 m). The fourth place was taken together by Marita Kramer (91 m) and Ema Klinec (90 m).
In the final, Ursa Bogataj reached 98.5 meters and triumphed by 5.7 points over Nika Kriznar (95.5 m). On the lowest step of the podium was Katharina Althaus (95.5 m), who turned out to be better than Sara Takanashi (93.5 m), Ema Klinec (89 m) and Marita Kramer (89 m).
The winner of the Crystal Globe in the 2021-2022 season is Marita Kramer (1266 points). Before the final competition, the Austrian has a safe point advantage over Nika Kriznar (1111 points) and Ursa Bogataj (1051 points).
