Slovenia triumphed confidently in Friday’s Raw Air mixed team competition at Holmenkollbakken (HS134) in Oslo. Austria was second and Norway took the lowest step of the podium.
The first competition round was dominated by the Slovenian team, which led from the first to the fourth group. The favorites started with the performance of Ursa Bogataj (127.5 m), and then Lovro Kos (130.5 m), Nika Kriznar (121.5 m) and Timi Zajc (130.5 m) also showed good jumps.
In the final, Slovenia confidently maintained the lead in the competition after jumps of Ursa Bogataj (120.5 m), Lovro Kos (123.5 m), Nika Kriznar (118 m) and Timi Zajc (132 m) and finally won with an advantage of 75.2 points. This is their third triumph in the mixed team, after victories in Willingen and at the Beijing Olympics.
Second place was taken by Austria, and the podium was completed by Norway. The next places went to Japan, Germany, Finland, Poland and Canada.
