Anette Sagen won the second competition in Ljubno. Iraschko and Grässler came respectively second and third.
After the first round Daniela Iraschko (AUT) was slightly ahead of Anette Sagen (NOR) and Ulrike Grässler (GER) who shared the second place. The competition’s longest jump to 85.5 m in the second round was enough for Sagen to place on the first rank and win the competition. Unlike Sagen Grässler was not able to overtake Iraschko, so the Austrian took the second place while Grässler tok her second third place in a row.
For Sagen it was already the 38th victory in a COC-competition, but still the first one that winter after three second places. Her last win she celebrated at the end of September in Oberstdorf. Yesterdays winner Magdalena Schnurr (GER) took the sixth place, Helena Olsson Smeby (NOR) and Jenna Mohr (GER) are placed on the fourth and fifth rank.
With this victory Sagen was also able to take over the lead in the overall standings of the Continentalcup. Grässler is second, Lindsey Van (USA), who did not compete in the last three competitions is still third followed by Nata de Leeuw (CAN) who took the seventh place today. With her second place today Iraschko, who already skipped five competitions this winter, made a step forward to the fifth rank.
