Sunday’s competition in Braunlage cancelled, Daniela Iraschko wins Ladies Winter Tournee.
Also Sunday’s competition in Braunlage was cancelled due to choppy wind and heavy fog. So unfortunately not any competition was held here.
As the competitions in Braunlage were planed to be the final ones of the FIS Ladies Winter Tournee, the winners of that tour were awarded their trophies at a victory ceremony. Counting the results of two competitions in Baiersbronn and one in Schonach, Daniela Iraschko (AUT) won the tour with 739.0 points ahead of Anette Sagen (NOR, 712.5 points) and Ulrike Grässler (GER, 688.5 points). “We do not have Word Championships that season, so the Winter Tournee is very important to me,” said winner Iraschko after the ceremony.
