The second Continental Cup competition in Schonach on Sunday has been cancelled due to bad weather conditions.
Since approximately 8:00 AM there is steady rain here in Schonach. The rain is so strong, that water does not drain fast enough from the inrun track. This slows jumpers down and makes it dangerous for them to jump. According to the weather forecast, the rain will continue all day, so it was impossible to postpone the competition to the afternoon.
The next Continental Cup is on Wednesday in Hinterzarten.
