Daniela Iraschko won Saturday’s competition in Ljubno ahead of Eva Logar and Maja Vtič.
Austria’s Daniela Iraschko won today’s Continental Cup in Ljubno with a pair of jumps on 83.5 and 89.0 meters. Despite there were nine nations competing, only jumpers from Slovenia and Germany placed on ranks two to ten. The Slovenians came off a little better then the Germans. Eva Logar on the second (81.0 and 84.5 m) and Maja Vtič on the third place (78.5 and 84.0 m) joined Iraschko on the podium.
Anja Tepeš came fourth (80.0 and 82.0 m) and Špela Rogelj fifth (78.0 and 79.5 m). This is the best result ever for the Slovenian team. Juliane Seyfarth was the best German on the sixth rank (77.5 and 80.0 m), her team-mates followed right behind her.
It was Iraschko’s seventh win in this season. She has now 1100 points in the overall Continental Cup. Coline Mattel (FRA, 740 points) and Jessica Jerome (USA, 598 points) are still on the second and third place in this ranking, despite they were not competing in Ljubno.
