It looks like the Junior World Championships in Otepää might see a very close race tomorrow. In today’s second official training, France’s Coline Mattel and Japan’s Sara Takanashi were dead even. Mattel jumped a little more consistent (92.5 and 93.5 m), while Takanashi set the longest jump of the training (88.5 and 94.0 m).
Also Slovenia’s Eva Logar (88.5 and 91.0 m) and the Austrians Jacqueline Seifriedsberger (88.0 and 91.5 m) and Katharina Keil (68.0 and 90.5 m) were able to cross the 90-meter mark in one of their jumps. The Germans, that were unable to participate in yesterday’s training as their equipment was missing, were finally able to make their first jumps today. Best of them performed Carina Vogt, who jumped 80.5 and 84.5 meters.
The competition at 5:00 PM local time is going to be broadcast throughout Europe on Eurosport 2.
