World Championships in Val di Fiemme begin today with the first official training.
The start list for the World Ski Championships in Val di Fiemme has just been released. 45 Athletes from 16 countries will participate in the competitions. This is a new record, two years ago in Oslo there were only 43 paricipants. Defending champion Daniela Iraschko from Austria will not participate in these World Championships. She is out of action still for some month due to a torn ACL.
As the number of participants does not exceed 50 no qualification is needed. The first official training will be held today in the afternoon.
