Sara Takanashi won on Saturday in Nizhny Tagil ahead of Coline Mattel and Katharina Althaus.
Second competition – second win for Sara Takanashi. The overall Grand Prix leader from Japan won also the second Grand Prix in Nizhny Tagil, Russia, on Saturday. She jumped 94.0 and 99.0 meters. Like yesterday Coline Mattel from France came second. After jumping 94.5 meters in the first round she jumped even 100.0 meters in the second and so made the farthest jump of the day. Germany’s Katharina Althaus finished third with jumps of 96.0 and 94.0 meters. This is her best career result so far.
The fourth place was taken by Austria’s Chiara Hölzl with jumps of 95.5 and 94.0 meters. Canada’s Atsuko Tanaka came fourth by jumping 93.5 and 88.5 meters. Katja Pozun from Slovenia finished sixth with jumps of 92.5 and 87.5 meters.
Takanashi has now 325 points in the overall Grand Prix. Mattel is second with 209 points, Pozun third with 166 points.
