Bad luck for Slovenia’s Anja Tepes: During training on the hill in Planica yesterday the 22-year old re-injured her knee.
Anja Tepes fell severely last March in Oslo and thereby damaged her cruciate ligament, her collateral ligament and her meniscus. As she felt some movement in her knee when landing a training jump yesterday in Planica, she went to hospital for an examination. Thereby it was diagnosed that her anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is torn again. She declared on her official Facebook page, that she will undergo a surgery next month.
Tepes re-entered the World Cup just in January. Before she will be able to jump again, she has to wait another half year now. On Facebook she wrote: “Really positive thing is that I end my jumping this season with good jump which is good motivation till I’ll start jumping again!“
