Winter is almost over, but Norway, Canada, France, Slovenia and Russia held their National Championships on the last weekend of March.
Norway held it’s nationals on the K90 in Molde. Maren Lundby won this competition by jumping 98.0 meters twice. Line Jahr jumped even 98.5 meters in both rounds, but came only second as she scored less style points. Third came Helena Olsson Smeby with a pair of jumps of 93.5 and 89.0 meters.

The competititon in Slovenia was held on the large hill in Planica on Saturday morning. Winner came Katja Pozun with jumps of 120.5 and 121.0 meters. Maja Vtic took the second place (119.5 and 120.5 m), Spela Rogelj came third (114.4 amd 118.0 m).

France held its championships on the K76 hill in Les Rousses. Winner came Coline Mattel with jumpf of 71.0 and 71.5 meters. Second place was taken by Julia Clair who jumped 76.5 and 73.5 meters. Third came Lea Lemare with jumps of 66.5 and 67.5 meters.

Russian Champion came Irina Avvakumova. She made jumps of 92.5 and 90.0 meters on the hill in Nihzny Tagil. Alexandra Kustova took the second place by jumping 89.0 and 87.0 meters. Anastasiya Gladysheva came third with jumps of 83.0 and 87.0 meters.

Canada held it’s Championships in Whistler on the normal and on large hill. Both competitions were won by Atsuko Tanaka ahead of Taylor Henrich and Jasmine Sepandj.
