Irma Makhinia won today’s Russian Championships in Krasna Polyana (HS 106). 18-year-old with jumps on 95 and 90.5 meter unexpectedly beat much more experienced Sofia Tikhonova (89 and 92m) and Irina Avvakumova (86.5 and 85m).
Makhinia secured her victory with the total of 204.8 points. Tikhonova was 8.5 points behind the today’s gold medalist and the 29 years old Avvakumova lost to the winner 27.5 points.
Overall 22 female jumpers fought for the medals in today’s competition.
