Germany’s Veronika Zobel and Slovenia’s Ema Klinec won at the Ladies Cup in Žiri on both days.
This weekend two competitions of the Ladies Cup were held in Žiri, Slovenia. 20 jumpers from Austria, Slovenia, Germany, Russia and Romania competed there. As usual the competitions were held in distinct age groups. There were was no age group for ladies this time, as all competitors were under 18. D
On both days Slovenia’s Ema Klinec won the pupil’s competition hands down. On Saturday she had a pair of jumps on 61.5 and 60.5 meters. Second came Germany’s Katharina Althaus (56.5 and 55.5 m) ahead of Russia’s Alexandra Kustova (57.0 and 54.0 m).
On Sunday Klinec jumped 66.5 and 60.5 meters. This time Kustova (58.5 and 53.5 m) came second and Althaus third (62.0 and 54.0 m).

In the junior’s competition Germany celebrated a triple victory on Saturday. Veronika Zobel (57.5 and 55 m) won ahead of Sarah Pöppel (54.5 and 54.0 m) and Lucienne Höppner (54.5 and 54.5 m).
Also on Sunday Zobel was the winner, this time with jumps on 59.0 and 55.0 meters. Slovenia’s Barbara Klinec (55.0 and 55.5 m) came second and Pöppel third (55.5 and 53 m).
