Ladies CoC in Bischofshofen: Izumi Yamada wins

Izumi Yamada won the Sunday’s Ladies Continental Cup competition in Bischofshofen (HS 78). Japanese competitor jumped 75 and 70,5m and was one point ahead of Jenna Mohr (72 and 71m). Third place took Jacqueline Seifriedsberger (71,5 and 69,5m).

Young Magdalena Schnurr finished 4th (72 and 71m) and Ulrike Graessler was 5th (70 and 72,5m).

Yesterday’s winner – Anette Sagen – today had to be satisfied with only 7th place after two jumps of 70,5m.

As many as four jumpers were again disqualified – Maja Vtic and Juliane Seyfarth in the 2nd round and Karin Friberg and Coralie Taillard – in the 1st round.

After today’s victory, with 320 points Izumi Yamada became the leader of the overall standings, ahead of Magdalena Schnurr (286 pts.) and Jacqueline Seifriedsberger (202 pts.).
