US Ski team in good shape before Oberstdorf competition

The US Ski Team has been intensively preparing for the coming Continental Cup in Oberstdorf (26-27.09). The US girls have been training in Lillehammer for the last week with their Norwegian coach – Kjell Ivar Magnussen.

Lindsey Van won the unofficial competition, which was held today at the K-90 and K-120 hills.

At the normal hill the best was Line Jahr, who jumped at 97 and 99 meters. Lindsey Van was second with two jumps of 94 meters, together with Alissa Johnson (97 and 91m).

At the K-120 hill Lindsey Van outclassed her teammates with the jumps of 124 and 125 meters. Alissa Johnson jumped at 115 and 121 meters, and Jessica Jerome – 118 and 112m, same as Avery Ardovino. Line Jahr and Abby Hughes didn’t start.

On Wednesday the girls move to Oberstdorf, when on Thursday the official trainings are scheduled.
