Last weekend the Austrian National Championships were held in Villach (HS 98). Among ladies, unbeatable was Daniela Iraschko who won with 25 points advantage over Jaqueline Seifriedsberger.
Daniela Iraschko, who did not compete in any ladies Continental Cup event this summer, jumped 90 and 94 meters.
“I’m very happy to be in such a great shape. This winter women have a big goal, which is the first ski jumping competition for ladies at the World Championships in Liberec. It’s also my personal goal. There is still a lot of work to do for me, I need to make all the things work perfectly, if I want to fight for the top places in Liberec” – said Iraschko.
Jaqueline Seifriedsberger, who is currently ranked 5-th in the overall COC standings, won the silver medal with the jumps of 82,5 and 85,5 meters.
Katharina Keil took the third place (63 and 63m), Anna Kienzer was 4th (61,5 and 67,5m) and Verena Pock – 5th (63,5 and 64m).
Only five girls started in the competition.
