Salome Fuchs injured

Switzerland’s Salome Fuchs injured her cruciate ligament at a training jump in Einsiedeln.

Fuchs tore her left knee’s ACL at a training jump on Einsiedeln’s K70 this afternoon. She will get a surgery on Monday, presumably in Einsiedeln. As injuries of the cruciate ligament always need a couple of months for recovery, we can only hope to see her back on the hills at the onset of winter.

Fuchs was able to celebrate her best career result only a few months ago, when she took a sixth place at the Continental Cup final in Zakopane on March 6th.

Ladies-Skijumping.com wishes her a speedy recovery.
