Jessica Jerome won U.S. Championships

Jessica Jerome won on the K120 in Park City ahead of Sarah Hendrickson and Lindsey Van.

The U.S. National Championships on the large hill were held on Saturday in Park City. Jessica Jerome won the competition with jumps on 127.5 and 126.5 meters. It is the eighth national title in her career. Second ranked Sarah Hendrickson (118.5 and 117.5 m) was almost 25 points behind Jerome. Last year’s winner Lindsey Van twice jumped 116.5 meters and so took the third rank.

Ranks four to six were claimed by Alissa Johnson (116.5 and 117.5 m), Nina Lussi (111.5 and 112.5 m) and Abby Hughes (109.5 and 110.0 m). Also some Canadian jumpers competed in these championships. Best of them was Taylor Henrich who came seventh (106.0 and 104.0 m).
