Ema Klinec, Katharina Althaus and Verena Pock won the Ladies Cup competitions in Berchtesgaden.
Two competitions of the Ladies Cup, the junior series in Ladies Skijumping, were held this weekend on the HS 64 in Berchtesgaden. As usual at this series, the competitions were held in three age groups, Girls, Juniors and Ladies.
Girls: Klinec unbeatable
Slovenia’s Ema Klinec, who came second last Saturday at the Continental Cup in Oberwiesenthal, totally dominated the competitions of the Girls (born 1997-99). She jumped across the hill size mark in all of her competition jumps and so won on both days by a large margin.
On Saturday Klinec won with a pair of jumps on 65.5 and 67.5 meters. Second that day came Germany’s Pauline Hessler (60 and 58 m) ahead of Slovenia’s Agata Stare (57.5 and 58 m). Ranks four to six were taken by Luisa Görlich (GER, 56.5 and 56 m), Gianina Ernst (SUI, 56 and 56.5 m) and Manuela Malsiner (ITA, 58 and 55 m).

On Sunday Klinec twice jumped 66 meters. That day the second and third rank were both taken by Austrians, Elisabeth Raudaschl (63 and 60.5 m) and Sonja Schoitsch (61 and 59.5 m). Fourth came Malsiner (59 and 61 m), fifth again Ernst (57 and 59 ,) and sixth Hessler (58 and 57 m).

Klinec also leads in the Ladies Cup overall standings. She has 400 points. Second ranked Schoitsch has 360, on third is Austria’s Chiara Hölzl with 250 points (blank results are already considered).
Juniors: Althaus wins twice
The hosting nation Germany outperformed all others in the Juniors age group (born 1994-96). Katharina Althaus won on both days. On Saturday she won with jumps on 65 and 63 meters. Second came Anna Rupprecht (64 and 61 m) ahead of Veronika Zobel (61 and 58.5 m). Lucienne Höppner (58 and 56 m) and Melanie Häckert (57 and 54 m) followed on ranks four and five. Slovenia’s Manja Pograj came sixth (55 and 54 m).

Saturday’s runner-up Rupprecht did not compete on Sunday. So Althaus (61 and 66 m) won ahead of Zobel (62 and 58.5 m) and Höppner (59 and 58 m). Häckert (58 and 56 m) came fourth, Pograic fifth (52.5 and 54.5 m). Rank six was claimed by Austria’s Lisa Wiegele (51 and 49.5 m).

In the overall standings Althaus now shares the first rank with France’s Coline Mattel (200 points each), third is Pograjc (195).
Ladies: Pock ahead of Kostner
The competitions in the Ladies age group (born 1993 or older) were only attended by two jumpers, Austria’s Verena Pock and Italy’s Nadine Kostner. On both days Pock won over Kostner. On Saturday Pock jumped on 54 and 55 meters, while Kostner jumped 51 and 46 meters.

On Sunday Pock’s advantage was a little smaller, she jumped 55 and 53, Kostner 52 and 51.5 meters.

In the overall standings of this age group Pock shares the first rank with Switzerland’s Sabrina Windmüller (200 points each), Kostner shares the third position with Slovenia’s Katja Pozun (180 points each).
