Ema Klinec, Spela Rogelj and Ramona Straub won the Ladies Cup competitions in Ziri.
Besides of the Continental Cup in Trondheim also two competitions of the Ladies Cup, the junior series in Ladies Skijumping, were held on this weekend. Venue for these competitions was the K60 hill in Ziri, Slovenia. 23 jumpers from Austria, Germany, Italy and Slovenia participated in the competitions, that were -as usual in this series- held in three age groups, Girls, Juniors and Ladies.
Girls: Klinec a class of her own
In the Girl’s (born 1997-99) competitions, Slovenia’s Ema Klinec was a class of her own. She won on both days by a tremendous margin. On Saturday Manuela Malsiner and Julija Srsen followed on ranks two and three behind her, on Sunday those ranks were taken by Srsen and Austria’s Sonja Schoitsch.
The overall standings are led by Klinec, who has 600 points, on the second and third rank follow the Austrians Schoitsch with 530 points and Elisabeth Raudaschl with 538 points (blank results are already considered).

Juniors: Rogelj wins twice
A fixed order was visible at the competitions of the Juniors (born 1994-96) . The result lists looked almost similar on both days, as all competitors took the same places twice. Only the jumped distances varied a little. Winner of the competitions was Slovenia’s Spela Rogelj ahead of her team-mate Barbara Klinec and Germany’s Veronika Zobel.
The overall rankings of the juniors are led by three Slovenians. On the first rank is Klinec (480 points), Rogelj (380 points) and Manja Pograjc (370 points) are second and third.

Ladies: Two victories for Ramona Staub.
As usual only few jumpers competed in the Ladies class (born in 1993 or older). Winner on both days was Germany’s Ramona Straub. The Slovenian competitors Anja Tepes and Vesna Alegro came each time second and third.
The overall standings are now led by Alegro, who has 390 points. Second is Italy’s Nadine Kostner, who did not compete in Ziri, with 380 points. Tepes follows on the third rank with 300 points.

The competitions in Ziri were the last ones of the Ladies Cup in this summer. The series continues on the 14th of January in Achomitz.
