Sarah Hendrickson was best in the trial round for today’s World Cup in Lillehammer.
After already dominating yesterday’s official training, America’s Sarah Hendrickson was also the best in the trial round today. She got 94 points for her 103.5 meter jump and so was about 25 points ahead of the second ranked Anette Sagen (NOR, 93 m, 75.6 points). Austria’s Daniela Iraschko and Japan’s Sara Takanashi shared the third rank of this trial round with 90.5 meters and 72.8 points each.
After yesterday’s training and this trial round Sarah Hendrickson is the odds-on favourite to become the first female World Cup winner in history. The first competition round is scheduled to start at 15:15.
