Manja Pograjc and Ema Klinec won the Ladies Cup in Ziri.
The World Cup in Val di Fiemme and the Youth Olympics in Innsbruck were in the center of attention on the weekend. But besides these two events, also two competitions of the Ladies Cup, the junior series in Ladies-Skijumping were held. Venue for these competitions was the K60 in Ziri (SLO), where already in the summer two Ladies Cups were held. As usual in that series, the competitions were held in two age groups, Girls (born 1997-99) and Juniors (born 1994-96).
Girls: Ema Klinec unbeatable
In the girl’s age group not less then 20 jumpers were on the start list – a very high participation for a Ladies Cup. Hands down winner on both day’s came Slovenia’s Ema Klinec. On Saturday the Austrians Chiara Hölzl and Sonja Schoitsch shared the Podium with her, on Sunday Romania’s Dana Haralambie came second and Hölzl third.

Juniors: Two victories for Manja Pograjc
On both days Slovenia’s Manja Pograjc won the junior’s competition ahead of the Germans Lucienne Höppner and Melanie Häckert. Especially on Saturday it was very close between Pograjc and Höppner, as both jumped exactly the same distances. So the race was decided by the higher style points Pograjc got by the judges. On both day’s Austria’s Lisa Wiegele came fourth.
