Jacqueline Seifriedsberger won Sunday’s Continental Cup in Lillehammer ahead of Daniela Iraschko and Anja Tepes.
After the kick-off on Saturday a second Continental Cup was held today on the K90 hill in Lillehammer. And like yesterday Austria was able to celebrate a double win. Yesterday Daniela Iraschko won ahead of Jacqueline Seifriedsberger, but today it was the other way round. With a pair of jumps of 98.0 and 94.5 meters Seifriedsberger won with an advantage of 1.5 points. Second ranked Iraschko jumped 96.5 meters twice but got slightly lower style points for her second jump then Seifriedsberger. Third behind the two Austrians came Slovenia’s Anja Tepes with jumps of 92.0 and 88.5 meters. This is her best career result so far, already yesterday she came sixth.
Also the fourth place was taken by a Slovenian, Katja Pozun (88.0 and 91.0 m). Places five and six both went to the Canadian team. Atsuko Tanaka, still third after the first round, came fifth (90.5 and
87.0 m). Alexandra Pretorius, winner of the Grand Prix in Courchevel four weeks ago, came sixth with jumps of 89.0 and 87.0 meters.
In the overall Summer Continental Cup Iraschko and Seifriedsberger both have 180 points now. As these two competitions in Lillehammer were the only Continental Cups this summer, they are sharing the overall win in this summer series. Third behind them is Tepes with 100 points.
