Italy’s Lisa Demetz fell in training in Lillehammer and tore her ACL.
At a training jump today in Lillehammer Italy’s Lisa Demetz suffered an unfortunate fall and thereby tore her ACL (anterior cruciate ligament). She was immediately taken to the Lillehammer hospital, where this first diagnosis was made. An MRI examination will be done on Monday in Italy and most likely she will have a surgery within the next weeks. It always takes several month for ACL injuries to heal fully and so she will not be able to jump for the remainder of the season.
Ladies-Skijumping.com wishes her a well recovery.
