Finland’s Julia Kykkänen broke her collarbone after falling at home.
Bad luck for Julia Kykkänen. The best Finish jumper of the last years fell totally unlucky in her own backyard in Lahti and thereby broke her collarbone. A surgery to fix the rupture will be done on Monday. After that a plan for the healing process will be evaluated. At the moment it is still unclear, how long she will need to recover after this procedure. Nevertheless both, her father and coach Kimmo Kykkänen and Julia Kykkänen herself, expressed the fair hope, that she might return to the jumping hills still in this winter. “Julia is in a good mood and has confidence that the surgery will be successful”, Kimmo Kykkänen said to Ladies-Skijumping.com.
Ladies-Skijumping.com wishes her a speedy recovery.
