Switzerland: Fabian Ebenhoch succeeds Sven Arnold as Ladies Skijumping head coach.

The Swiss team meets the upcoming Olympic season with a new head coach. Fabian Ebenhoch from Austria succeeds Sven Arnold, who coached the team during the last two years. Arnold takes up a new job as junior coach in Switzerland.

34 year old Ebenhoch is one of the most experienced coaches in Ladies Skijumping. Before he became head coach of the Italian Nordic Combined team two years ago, he served as Ladies head coach in Italy and Austria for more than ten years. By the time he left the Italian Ladies team, he was actually the longest-serving coach in this sports. “I am very happy to welcome Fabian Ebenhoch, who is a real expert and valued colleague, to our team. He will continue the work of Sven Arnold”, Berni Schödler, sports director of the Swiss team, said to swiss-ski.ch.

Ebenhoch met the team and other coaches of the Swiss team recently at an Olympic meeting in Magglingen. “I am very happy to work together with highly motivated Ladies again. The first meeting with the team, federation officials and colleagues was cordially and highly professional. I am looking forward to an interesting year,” he said.
