Ema Klinec won both FIS-Cups in Villach this weekend.
The first competitions of this summer season have been held this weekend. 32 jumpers from 7 countries gathered in Villach for two competitions of the FIS Cup series on the K90/HS98 meter hill there. Next to lots of juniors also a good number of World Cup-experienced jumpers attended these competitions. On both days they were all outperformed by 15 year old Ema Klinec from Slovenia, who – after the latest rule changes – still has to wait one more year until she may participate in World Cups.
On Saturday Klinec won with a pair of jumps of 95.5 and 90.0 meters ahead of Eva Logar, who jumped 94.5 and 91.5 meters. Third behind the two Slovenes came Katharina Althaus from Germany by jumping 91.0 meters twice. Places four to six were taken by Ursa Bogataj (93.5 and 88.0 m), Svenja Würth (91.5 and 90.0 m) and Maja Vtic (94.5 and 86.0 m).
